The American-Israeli Cooperative Enterprise (AICE) was established in 1993 as a nonpartisan organization to strengthen the U.S.-Israel relationship by emphasizing the fundamentals of the alliance-the values our nations share.  Tangibly, this means developing social and educational programs in the U.S. based on innovative, successful Israeli models that address similar domestic problems, and bringing novel U.S. programs to Israel. The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), America's Israel pro-lobby, began in the 1950s in Washington, DC. State of Israel Bonds began operations in 1951. The corporation was established to implement Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion's decision to float a bond issue to bolster Israel's fledgling economy. Throughout the ensuing decades, the sale of Israel bonds became a global enterprise, fulfilling Ben-Gurion's vision of a strong economic partnership between Israel and its supporters the world over.

Proceeds realized from the sale of Israel bonds are utilized by Israel's Finance Ministry to help fund projects in key economic sectors.  Examples include: agriculture, industry, shipping, energy, transportation, communications, water resources, and immigrant absorption.

The Zionist Organization of America is the oldest, and one of the largest, pro-Israel organizations in the United States. Founded in 1897 to support the re-establishment of a Jewish State in the ancient Land of Israel, its presidents have included such illustrious Jewish leaders as Supreme Court Justice Louis D. Brandeis and Rabbi Abba Hillel Silver.  The ZOA was instrumental in mobilizing the support of the U.S. government, Congress, and the American public for the creation of Israel in 1948.
